Bicycle Bash by the Bay: This was started by Carrollwood Bicycle Emporium & Oliver's Cycle Sports when we owned both stores. We, with Alan Snel, envisioned the Bicycle Bash to one day be as big of a deal to the city of Tampa as Gasparilla. Although our city celebrates bicycle month, we felt our city should have more awareness on bicycle safety, bicycle clubs that are out there for riders to join, and show that bicycle shops all around are working together to promote safe roads to ride and commute. By working together, we can have a voice, thus SWFBUD was formed (southwest florida bicycle united dealers) several bicycle shops working together for you! Although we no longer are owners of CBE or Oliver's, we still believe in Cycling, we still believe in the cause!
